Peter Ipsen Arts & Crafts matte green pottery charger with raised koi fish and seaweed design. This is a wonderful and rare color combination for Ipsen Pottery, as their work is typically found in hues of oranges and browns. Excellent original condition with even crazing throughout as well as two very small glaze pops in bowl. Many iconic Danish potters and designers started off or worked for periods at Ipsen’s, including Axel Salto, Axel Sorensen, Georg Jensen, Just Andersen, Bode Willumsen, Arne Bang, Johannes Hedegaard just to name a few. The koi, or goldfish motif was designed by Axel Sorensen for Ipsen.
