Peter Behrens (attr.), Pair of German art nouveau stoneware handled vases with gilt copper overlay. Green and blue glazes decorated with stylized dogwood flowers and secessionist motif. Each marked with raised “43” and remnants or original paper labels. Circa 1904. Unsigned, but attributed to Peter Behrens for either Marzi & Remy, or Merkelbach & Wick. Very nice condition overall with minor chip to glaze at base of green vase. 5”h x 3.75”w. Pair, $695.
