Benedict Art Studios / OMS (Onondaga Metal Shops) arts and crafts hammered copper lamp with period Japanese split bamboo shade, Gustav Stickley Lamp Shade No. C-16. Three arm iron shade-rest with original sockets. Excellent condition with a wonderful original patina. Shade is in excellent original condition with a new hand-stitched golden silk liner installed. Rewired with period style cloth covered cord. Unmarked, but pictured in the Benedict catalog as Lamp No. 222. Gustav Stickley used these Japanese split bamboo shades and also produced a very similar model of this particular lamp (see last picture). East Syracuse, New York. Circa 1908. 24”h x 16”d (shade) x 7.25”d (base). $2900.
